Privacy and your choices

Questions, comments and invitations

When you submit a contact form, your name, email, topic, message and optional event details are stored in Jerry’s private website inbox so he can respond. Sending a question does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please avoid sending sensitive personal or medical information.

Newsletter signup

Signing up stores your name, email, optional interests, signup date and your agreement to receive Jerry’s newsletter. Email delivery is not connected yet. When it is enabled, new subscribers will be asked to confirm their email before joining the active mailing list. Existing unverified signups will also need confirmation. After a new signup, you receive a private link on screen to change your interests or unsubscribe. Keep that link private. You can also request changes or deletion by emailing Jerry.

The website is prepared to use Resend or Brevo for confirmation emails, welcome messages and notifications. No email provider is active yet. This notice will name the connected provider before sending begins. Only information needed to deliver the message will be sent to that provider. Jerry does not sell your email address.

Storage and protection

Messages and signup records are stored in the website’s hosted database. Access to the owner inbox requires Jerry’s authorized sign-in. To limit spam, the forms briefly store a hash derived from your network address and the time window; those counters expire after 30 minutes and are removed during later submissions. The hosting provider may separately process connection and security logs.

The website counts visits to the book page and clicks on its Amazon links. These are aggregate daily counts, not unique-person profiles. It does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers, and it respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Brief network-address hashes are also used to limit repeated counter requests. Owner sign-in uses the hosting platform’s authentication. Free resources remain available without signing up.

Ebook purchases

Direct ebook sales are planned through Payhip. When enabled, the purchase button takes you to Payhip’s checkout, where your order, payment, receipt and download are handled. This website does not collect payment-card details. See Payhip’s privacy policy for information about its processing of purchase data. Use your regular email address for delivery. Newsletter signup on this website remains a separate choice.

Contact and deletion

Email JPerone@iCloud.com to request correction, deletion, or an end to newsletter messages. Inquiry records are kept until Jerry deletes them. An unsubscribe stops newsletter participation; you can also request deletion of your signup record.
